Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device, a control method and a control program that suitably controls gathering of sound by a microphone.SOLUTION: A communication device 100 has a detection part 104, a determination part 105, and a directivity control part 106. The detection part 104 detects a direction of a generation source for sound gathered by a microphone array including a plurality of microphones at the site where the communication device is installed. The determination part 105 determines whether a mask region for masking a display of a display device at another site is included in an image region corresponding to a region of a display image to be displayed at the display device at the other site and including the detected direction of the generation source. The directivity control part 106 controls the directivity of the microphone array so that when the mask region is included in the image region, gathering of sound from a range of the site corresponding to the mask region is limited.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
