Abstract:
To provide a connector in conductive connection with an object to be connected, and to prevent a movable housing from being increased in size in an intersection direction with respect to an insertion direction of the object to be connected and avoid a contact between contact parts of terminals and the movable housing.SOLUTION: A connector comprises: a stationary housing 6; a movable housing 7 that is movable with respect to the stationary housing 6 and has a fitting chamber 9c fitted to an object to be connected; and terminals 4 that each have a contact part 4f in conductive connection with the object to be connected and a spring part 4c supporting the movable housing 7 with respect to the stationary housing 6 in a displaceable manner. The connection part 4f is displaced upon reception of pressing contact of the object to be connected from one side of an intersection direction Y for a fitting direction Z in which the object to be connected is fitted. The movable housing 7 has a retreat space part 9a10 for avoiding contact with the displaced contact part 4f on the other side of the intersection direction Y of the contact part 4f.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
