Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a hybrid vehicle which suppresses the consumption of a battery when compensating for a lowering amount of an output of an internal combustion engine caused by the ignition retardation of a cylinder at the warmup of a catalyst by an output of an electric motor.SOLUTION: When switching a cylinder operation to a full-cylinder operation in which resting cylinders 33, 36 are brought into operation states from a reduced-cylinder operation in which the resting cylinders 33, 36 are brought into non-operation states, an ECU 19 performs first control for retarding the ignition timing of the resting cylinders 33, 36 when a second catalyst 57 arranged in an exhaust pipe 56 connected to the resting cylinders 33, 36 does not reach a prescribed temperature. Furthermore, the CPU performs second control for making a second motor 13 output a traveling drive force during the execution of the first control. When the ECU 19 performs the first control or the second control, the ECU sets the ignition timing of the resting cylinders 33, 36 at timing at which an amount for displacing the ignition timing to a retardation side with respect to the ignition timing of operating cylinders 34, 35 becomes large as a battery residual amount which is detected by a power supply part 21 becomes small.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
