Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that a combustion product resulting from a deterioration component of engine oil is dried as an alcohol concentration in fuel becomes high, thus causing thermal deformation and exfoliation of a surface-treated layer of a piston ring.SOLUTION: An operation control device of an internal combustion engine to which fuel F containing an alcohol comprises: an ECU 15 for changing a combustion condition of the fuel; means 14 for acquiring alcohol concentration C in the fuel; means 15l for setting a threshold temperature Tcorresponding to the acquired alcohol concentration; means 27 for acquiring a temperature Tin the vicinity of a combustion chamber of a cylinder block 26 which surrounds the combustion chamber 10a; and means 15m for comparing the acquired temperature in the vicinity of the combustion chamber with the threshold temperature. When the acquired temperature in the vicinity of the combustion chamber is higher than the set threshold temperature, the means for changing the combustion condition of the fuel changes the combustion condition of the fuel so that the temperature in the vicinity of the combustion chamber of the cylinder block is lowered, and the means for setting the threshold temperature sets the threshold temperature low as the alcohol concentration in the fuel is high.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
