Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a fuel injection condition according to the displacement of spray arrangements by detecting the displacement of the spray arrangements of fuel.SOLUTION: A first characteristic value being a frequency characteristic value of a resonance frequency of a bore diameter, and a second characteristic value being a frequency characteristic value of a resonance frequency of a combustion chamber diameter are calculated by Fourier-transforming combustion pressure. The first and second frequency characteristic values are compared with a first reference range being a reference range of the frequency characteristic value in the resonance frequency of the bore diameter, and a second reference range being a reference range of the frequency characteristic value in the resonance frequency of the combustion chamber diameter, respectively, and when the first characteristic value exceeds the first reference range, or when the second characteristic value is smaller than the second reference range, one of the control of the retardation of fuel injection timing, the boosting of fuel injection pressure, and an increase of after-injection is performed. When the first characteristic value does not reach the first reference range, or when the second characteristic value exceeds the second reference range, one of the control of the retardation of the fuel injection timing, the lowering of the fuel injection pressure, and a decrease of the after-injection is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
