Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of unpleasant collision noise caused by contact of a waste gate valve with its opening-side stopper, and abnormal overheating of a waste gate actuator caused by excessive increase of waste gate actuator driving current to an opening side.SOLUTION: In a control device 50 of an internal combustion engine in which opening/closing of a waste gate valve 31 is controlled by controlling an operation amount of a waste gate actuator 34 driven by electric energy, an actual position of the waste gate actuator detected by a position sensor 53 detecting positional information of the waste gate actuator 34 related to a valve opening position of the waste gate valve 31, is input to the control device, and the control device limits the operation amount to the opening-side of the waste gate actuator before arrival of the waste gate actuator to an opening-side stopper position on the basis of the actual position of the waste gate actuator input from the position sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
