Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly suppress degradation of combustibility and lowering of an engine output caused by accidental fire even when accidental fire occurs at some ignition plugs among a plurality of ignition plugs 19A, 19B, in a control device of a multi-ignition type engine having the plurality of ignition plugs 19A, 19B.SOLUTION: When accidental fire is detected at only some ignition plugs among a plurality of ignition plugs 19A, 19B by accidental fire detection means (accidental fire detection circuits 57A, 57B), a fuel injection valve (direct-injection injection valve 18) is controlled so that an air-fuel mixture is formed at a side of the ignition plugs in which the accidental fire is not detected, in comparison with a case when the accidental fire of the plurality of ignition plugs 19A, 19B is not detected in a combustion chamber of an engine 10, and the lowering of the engine output caused by the accidental fire of some ignition plugs is compensated by increasing a fuel injection amount from the fuel injection valve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
