PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-mounted type display device that causes respective users to visually recognize different images without the need to store information in advance.SOLUTION: A head-mounted type display device includes: an imaging part that photographs an external scenery; an image display part that displays an image and can transmit the external scenery; a digital watermark acquisition part that acquires, from a photographed image of the external scenery, a digital watermark image having watermark information embedded therein so that the information cannot be visually recognized by a user; and a display image control part that displays, on the image display part, a watermark information corresponding image that is associated with the watermark information embedded in the acquired digital watermark image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
