Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve silence of an internal combustion engine by reducing combustion noise under low load, typically during idling of the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: In an accumulator type fuel injection control device including an injector for supplying a fuel to an internal combustion engine, a common rail to which the injector is connected, a high-pressure pump for force feeding the high-pressure fuel to the common rail, a flow rate control valve for adjusting a fuel supply amount to a pressure chamber of the high-pressure pump, a pressure control valve for adjusting a discharge amount of the high-pressure fuel, and a control device for controlling a rail pressure of the common rail, the control device is constituted to execute at least a control mode for closed-loop controlling both of the flow rate control valve and the pressure control valve, and a control mode for closed-loop controlling only the flow rate control valve, and the rail pressure of the common rail is controlled in the control mode for closed-loop controlling both of the flow rate control valve and the pressure control valve when the rail pressure of the common rail is less than a prescribed threshold value.
