Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting blade used for a binding machine, capable of effectively reducing an operation force necessary for using the binding machine.SOLUTION: The cutting blade for the binding machine includes a blade body having a blade tip provided at its tip part to form a cut hole in a sheet, a binding member insertion window provided through the blade body in a thickness direction to insert the binding member into the cut hole in the engaged state of the belt-like binding member for binding the sheet when the blade body is pulled out from the cut hole, and a gap forming raised part raised from the blade body in the thickness direction to separate a pair of opposing cut end edges of the cut hole when the binding member insertion window passes through the cut hole, thereby forming a gap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 34
