Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main spindle device which maintains a balance of a main spindle and inhibits the occurrence of wind noise.SOLUTION: A main spindle device 1 includes: a main spindle 11 configured to rotate around an axis; an annular end surface cover 13 fixed to an outer peripheral portion of a lower end part of the main spindle 11; and balance holes 11c provided at the main spindle 11 and to which a weight 53 for keeping the balance of the main spindle 11 may be attached. The main spindle device 1 includes: through holes 13c provided at positions of the end surface cover 13 which correspond to the balance holes 11c; and lids 52 configured to close the through holes 13c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
