Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool and a support member capable of surely supplying a coolant to an edge of a blade part in grooving.SOLUTION: A cutting tool 100 comprises a blade part 26 on the tip, and comprises a plate-like member 10 for supporting the blade part and a support part 21 for supporting the plate-like member 10, in which the plate-like member 10 is arranged so that the blade part 26 projects more than the support member 20, and a flow passage for passing liquid or gas is arranged on the inside of the support member 20, and wall parts 21A, 21B and 21C for constituting a support part 20 comprise a noncontact surface 25 of not contacting with the plate-like member 10 arranged in the support part 21, and a clearance formed between the noncontact surface 25 and the plate-like member 10 opens toward the existent side of the blade part 26, and an outflow port 28 of the flow passage is arranged on the noncontact surface 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
