Abstract:
Disclosed are a dart game apparatus and a dart game system outputting an event effect. The dart game apparatus may include: a dart target having a plurality of score areas; a sensing unit sensing a hit location of a dart pin in the dart target; a display unit providing a display area surrounding the dart target and disposed to provide variable screen to a location adjacent to at least a part of an outline of the dart target, and outputting the event effect based at least partially on the hit location of the dart pin in the dart target; and a controller determining a location of event image to be displayed on the variable screen based on the hit location of the dart pin in the dart target, the event image being determined based on the dart game result at least partially based on the sensed hit location of the dart pin, and controlling the display unit output the event image at a time subsequent to the sensing unit sensing the hit location of the dart pin in the dart target.
