Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make operable document data indicating the actual content of a document file as an electronic file including a format represented by ruled lines by using general-purpose database language.SOLUTION: A document file 3 input from a terminal 1 is registered as it is in a document file DB5 by a document file registration part 4 of a database system 2, and a data structure structurally representing a relation between document data and at least one item representing the context is acquired, and stored in the document file DB 5 by the file registration part 4. When a data operation query including at least a condition for executing a data operation and a data operation instruction is input from the terminal 1, the document file and the data structure equivalent to the query are searched by a data operation part 7 of the database system 2, and an operation of data reference or data update is executed, and the result is output to the terminal 1.
