PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decomposing fiber-reinforced plastic that uses bacterial cells and has low environmental loads.SOLUTION: A method for decomposing fiber-reinforced plastic includes decomposing fiber-reinforced plastic (for example, carbon fiber-reinforced plastic including thermoplastic resin as matrix resin, glass fiber-reinforced plastic or the like) in the presence of at least one bacterial cells of Bacillus and Achromobacter.
