Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding device for folding an absorbent sanitary product.SOLUTION: A folding device for folding an absorbent sanitary product comprising an absorber on a center of the folding device, and two wings protruded from both side edges of the absorber on the center, comprises: a vacuum conveyor containing a conveyor belt for holding the absorber on the center of the absorbent sanitary product and moving the absorbent sanitary product in the longitudinal direction; and a pair of fixing folding elements which engage to respective wings of the absorbent sanitary product when the absorbent sanitary product is moved in the longitudinal direction by the vacuum conveyor. The conveyor belt comprises plural recess sheets for receiving the absorber on the center of the absorbent sanitary product, and the wings extend from the recess sheet on an outer surface of the conveyor belt to an outside part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
