PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and the like capable of suppressing power consumption for positioning.SOLUTION: A device has: a position information acquisition unit that acquires position information by being started in response to a start request; a plurality of position information acquisition controllers added to a plurality of applications; and a processing unit that selects one position information acquisition controller that performs start request to the position information acquisition unit on the basis of a predetermined condition that is set to the own device, and determines whether or not the position information acquisition controller is changed depending on a change in a state of the own device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
