Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device, discharge lamp lighting method and projector device, capable of lighting a discharge lamp while suppressing power consumption.SOLUTION: The discharge lamp lighting device includes: a resonance circuit part (73) connected with a discharge lamp (10); a power conversion part (72) that inverts DC power into AC power and supplies the AC power to the discharge lamp through the resonance circuit part; and a control part (76) that gradually changes a frequency of the AC power through a different frequency from a frequency generating a resonance of the resonance circuit part within a lighting start period until the discharge lamp reaches a steady lighting state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
