Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve appearance of a pointer and a display device.SOLUTION: A display device for a vehicle 10 comprises a first meter 31 and a second meter 32. The meters 31 and 32 include indications 47a and 47b and a pointer 48 for pointing the indications 47a and 47b. The pointer 48 has a pointer boss 71 supported by a pointer shaft part and an actual needle part 72 extending along a meter area 42 of the meters 31 and 32. The actual needle part 72 has a rear plate part forming a rear face thereof and a front plate part forming a front face thereof. A slit 79 is formed at the front plate part. The pointer boss 71 includes a light emission part emitting light so as to hit a front face of the rear plate part and a boss case storing the light emission part. Light emitted from the light emission part hits the rear plate part and thereby a light needle part is displayed on the front face of the rear plate part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
