Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient material-recycling processing of a composite material without deteriorating the quality of a reinforcing material and without imposing environmental load.SOLUTION: The composite material comprising a resin and the reinforcing material is immersed in a treatment solution containing an oxidizing active species obtained by electrolyzing a sulfuric acid solution, then the resin is decomposed into water and carbon dioxide, and the decomposition product is dissolved in the processing solution. Subsequently, the reinforcing material is removed from the processing solution. By further adding a peroxide to the processing solution and heating to a predetermined temperature, the decomposition rate of the resin can be further accelerated.SELECTED DRAWING: None
