Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage control device of an internal combustion engine capable of curbing reductions in torque and output by appropriately controlling opening and closing performance of an on-off valve installed on a drainage passage.SOLUTION: A drainage control device of an internal combustion engine comprises: an air intake passage 4 with one end thereof connected to an air intake side of the internal combustion engine 1; an exhaust passage 5 with one end thereof connected to an exhaust side of the internal combustion engine 1; an intercooler 10 installed on the air intake passage 4; a catalyst 18 installed on the exhaust passage 5; a drainage passage 28 with one end thereof connected to an air intake passage 4 of a downstream side of the intercooler 10 and the other end thereof connected to an exhaust passage 5 of an upstream side of the catalyst 18 to discharge condensed water generated through dew condensation by the intercooler 10 to the exhaust passage 5; an on-off valve 29 installed on the drainage passage 28; an oxygen concentration sensor 20 installed on the exhaust passage 5 at the downstream side of a junction section between the drainage passage 28 and the exhaust passage 5; and an on-off valve control section 30 which performs opening-closing control of the on-off valve 29 on the basis of output of an oxygen concentration in exhaust detected by the oxygen concentration sensor 20.
