Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching element drive circuit which can reduce a loss in a plurality of switching elements mutually connected in parallel.SOLUTION: A U-phase first upper arm switching element SUHA, which is an IGBT, and a U-phase second upper arm switching element SUHB, which is a MOSFET, are connected in parallel. A drive circuit Dr, after switching the U-phase first upper arm switching element SUHA to an ON state first, switches the U-phase second upper arm switching element SUHB to an ON state. The drive circuit Dr makes the charging speed of the gate electric charge of the U-phase second upper arm switching element SUHB higher than the charging speed of the gate electric charge of the U-phase first upper arm switching element SUHA.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
