Abstract:
To provide an electric connection device that fits a plug connector to a receptacle connector with a clearance left, and that can suppress a fitting part of the receptacle connector for a device from being broken and the receptacle connector itself from being broken.SOLUTION: A receptacle-side housing 16 of a receptacle connector 12 is provided with a reception part 21 which has an inner wall 21a arranged on an inner side of an opening 18 of the receptacle connector 12 to abut on an end part 14c of a plug connector 11 inserted into the opening part 18. The reception part 21 is provided with a relief part 21b which relieves force acting from the end part 14c of the plug connector 11 on both sides in a width direction X2. The relief part 21b relieves the force acting from the end part 14c of the plug connector 11 by preventing contact with the end part 14c of the plug connector 11 while avoiding transmission of the force acting from the end part 14c of the plug connector 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
