Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve: the increase in gas diffusibility in at least one electrode of an air electrode and a fuel electrode; the suppression of occurrence of electrode cracking; and the suppression of occurrence of delamination.SOLUTION: In an electrochemical reaction single cell, at least one of an air electrode and a fuel electrode includes: a first layer; and a second layer. Supposing that a side where an electrolyte layer is present with respect to the electrode is one side, and a side opposite thereto is the other side, the second layer is disposed on the other side of the first layer. In the second layer, a first region on the one side, and a second region on the other side satisfy the following relations V, W and X. Relation V: (First region porosity)<(Second region porosity). Relation W: (Second region particle diameter D)×0.5≤(First region particle diameter D)≤(Second region particle diameter D)×1.5.
