Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an electrode whose curvature is sufficiently suppressed.SOLUTION: An electrode sheet, which has a coated region that is coated with an electrode layer along a longitudinal direction and a non-coated region that is not coated with the electrode layer on a surface of a belt-like substrate, is compressed at a press section; and then the non-coated region of the electrode sheet is contacted with a large diameter section and tension is applied to the non-coated region of the electrode sheet so as to correct curvature of the non-coated region of the electrode sheet by a curvature correction section having a curvature correction roller that has a small diameter section and a large diameter section along a width direction of the electrode sheet, where the small diameter opposes to the coated region of the electrode sheet and the large diameter is arranged opposite to the coated region. A width of the small diameter section along the width direction of the electrode sheet is set smaller than a width of the coated region along the width direction of the electrode sheet so that a boundary between the coated region and the non-coated region of the electrode sheet is positioned closer to the large diameter section than a boundary between the larger diameter section and the small diameter section of the curvature correction roller.
