Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide spherical active material particles which include a carbon-coated silicon-based material and of which the dispersion in the particle size is restrained to a low level.SOLUTION: Mono-dispersed spherical active material particles are obtained by producing a W/O/W, S/O/W, or O/W type emulsion including a polysilane derivative inside thereof via a step to make the suspension pass through predetermined holes, subsequently producing microcapsules by polymerizing a monomer in the oil phase of the emulsion, and then carbonizing organic substances in the microcapsules.
