Abstract:
To provide a throttle device of an engine capable of preventing loosening of an idle adjustment screw in an accelerator returning operation while securing an adjustment function for a desired idle intake amount.SOLUTION: A throttle device of an engine includes an idle adjustment mechanism 20 supported in a cantilevered manner from a valve body through an arm surface 21b of a bracket 21, and the idle adjustment mechanism 20 includes an idle adjustment screw 29 engaged with a female screw 21c of the arm surface 21b by pressing and contracting a compression spring 30, and a stopper portion 15b of a throttle lever to keep a throttle valve at a prescribed opening by being kept into contact with the idle adjustment screw 29 by a return spring, and further includes an attachment 23 mounted on the arm surface 21b of the bracket 21, having a through hole 24b corresponding to the female screw 21c, and inclined to a face F orthogonal to the idle adjustment screw 29, of a seating surface 24a of the compression spring 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
