Abstract:
To provide an engine that hardly causes a liquid sagging phenomenon from an exhaust passage.SOLUTION: A piston head PH comprises: a top ring groove 1RG in which a top ring 1R is fit; a second ring groove 2RG in which a second ring 2R is fit; an oil ring groove 3RG in which an oil ring 3G is fit; a top land 1L; a second land 2L which comprises a second notch part 2N; and a third land 3L. Second land gap capacity 2LV between the second land 2L and a cylinder CY is 0.4-0.8 time as large as top land gap capacity 1LV between the top land 1L and the cylinder CY, and second land notch part capacity 2NV is 1-3 times as large as the second land gap capacity 2LV excluding the second land notch part capacity 2NV.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
