This bathroom dryer is provided with a body unit, a manipulation unit, and a communication unit. The body unit comprises: an air blower that takes in air from a bathroom, and circulates intake air which is the air having been thus taken in to the bathroom, or exhausts the intake air out of an architectural structure in which the bathroom is installed; a temperature detection unit that detects the temperature of the intake air; a heating unit that heats the intake air; and a control unit that controls the air blower and the heating unit in accordance with setting information indicative of settings set for the bathroom dryer. The manipulation unit is installed in the same interior of the architectural structure, and receives inputs of manipulations to be performed on the body unit. The communication unit carries out communication between the bathroom dryer and a server connected thereto via a network. The control unit transmits, to the server, operating status information including temperature information that has been detected by the temperature detection unit at a reference communication interval, which is a predetermined reference communication interval, when the body unit is in a first state, whereas when the body unit is in a second state that is different from the first state, the control unit transmits the operating status information to the server at an interval shorter than the reference communication interval after the previous transmission of the operating status information.
