Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust device of a multi-cylinder engine which can enhance engine torque while reducing the size and weight of an exhaust system component.SOLUTION: A nozzle part 64 in which a nozzle part internal passage 64a is formed independently communicating with each independent exhaust passage 52, a slide part 62, and a diffuser part 63 which is constituted so that a flow passage area becomes larger as progressing toward a downstream side are arranged at a downstream side of the independent exhaust passage 52 sequentially from an upstream side, and an outer shell 61 which surrounds these items is arranged. The outer shell 61 is connected to the independent exhaust passage 52 and an exhaust pipe main body 80, the diffuser part 63 is fixed to the outer shell 61, only a slide part 62 out of the nozzle part 64, the slide part 62 and the diffuser part 63 is slide-displaced in upstream/downstream-side directions, and the slide part 62 is supported by the diffuser part 63 so as to be slide-displaceable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
