Abstract:
The present invention relates to an explosion preventing device for a portable gas range which prevents an accident caused by an explosion from occurring by externally discharging gas from inside a gas container when the gas pressure is raised to an excessive level by radiant heat or the like even after gas is shut off. The present invention is constituted by forming a horizontal gas passage in a direction perpendicular to a gas inlet portion of a gas regulator at which a gas container is mounted, installing a passage blocking safety valve to one side of the horizontal gas passage and also installing an explosion preventing device, and regulating gas pressure by moving gas from the side of the passage blocking safety valve of the horizontal gas passage to a pressure regulating chamber and then regulating the amount of gas discharged by means of a spindle.
