Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately predict a desired eye diagram and display the same.SOLUTION: The number of measurement points and a bit error rate measurement range are set by an operation unit 3a. A control unit 3b finds the center of an eye diagram by an auto search, changes a phase and a threshold voltage so as for the phase and the threshold voltage to be individually taken from the found center in a bifurcated search and searches for an actual measurement point, sets the threshold voltage to a point between the center of the eye diagram and the actual measurement point, changes the phase so as for the phase to be taken in a bifurcated search and searches for the actual measurement point, draws a bathtub curve from the result of a measurement point in the middle of a bifurcated search and calculates a temporary prediction point, and predicts a desired eye diagram, using the intersection of a line segment linking each of calculated temporary prediction points and a line segment linking between the actual measurement point and the center of the eye diagram as a prediction result point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
