Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a realistic eyeball for dolls, an eyeball in which, like an actual human eyeball, a border between a corneal part and a scleral part is smoothly continuous and in which a bright iris part and an attractive outer peripheral face of the scleral part are provided.SOLUTION: A doll eyeball includes: a body part 2 composed of an apex part 2a having a flat face 2c for which a part of an outer peripheral face 2d is formed flat, and composed of a hem part 2b gradually and flaringly expanded continuously with the apex part; an iris part 3 that is directly arranged in the apex part by printing; and a transparent cover part 4 that closely covers the outer peripheral face and the iris part. The cover part includes: a first region 4b which thinly covers a region of the hem part; and a second region 4a which covers a region of the apex part thickly compared with the first region. The first region and the second region are smoothly continuous. The second region includes: a first thick region that has the same curvature as the first region; and a second thick region that projects, with a curvature smaller than the curvature of the first thick region and that constitutes a lens-like projection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
