Abstract:
To provide a water closet that can suppress generation of dew condensation by increasing heat insulating property on an outer surface of a toilet bowl body and can suppress dripping even if dew condensation water occurs.SOLUTION: A water closet comprises: a ceramic toilet bowl body with a drain trap pipeline 8 that is connected to a lower part of a bowl part and has puddle water formed therein; cover members 10, 12 that are mounted to the outer surface of the drain trap pipeline so as to cover them from the outside; heat insulating materials 14, 16 being provided in close contact between mounted parts C, D on the outer surface of the drain trap pipeline and a mounting part on an inner surface of the cover member; and air layers A1, A2 being formed between non-contact parts E, F on the outer surface of the drain trap pipeline and the non-contact parts G, H on the inner surface of the cover member, in which the heat insulating material is provided on an outer peripheral side of an air layer and in close contact with a peripheral part of the mounting part on the inner surface of the cover member, and as a result, the heat insulating material prevents the dew condensation water on the outer surface of the drain trap pipeline from seeping out to the outside of the cover member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
