Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focus adjustment device capable of appropriately adjusting a focus state of an optical system.SOLUTION: A focus adjustment device includes: a specifying section 170 for specifying an image corresponding to an image being an object as a specific object from a picked-up image picked up through via an optical system including a focus adjustment optical system 212; a focus detection section 160 for detecting a focus state of the optical system in a plurality of focus detection positions set in a pick up screen; and a drive control section 170 for driving the focus adjustment optical system 212 to a first lens position corresponding to focus detection result of the focus detection section. The drive control section 170 drives the focus adjustment optical system 212 to a second lens position different from the first lens position when the specific object is specified by the specifying section 170, and the specific object is not present in any of the focus detection positions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
