Abstract:
To provide a side shift control device for a forklift that can lift a pallet with the forks inserted in the center of the pallet in the width direction.SOLUTION: A side shift control device 12 comprises: a camera 13 that detects a net pallet 3; a posture detection unit 16 that detects a posture of the net pallet 3 with respect to a forklift 1 based on detection data of the camera 13; a position calculation unit 17 that determines a center position in a width direction of a front 3a of the net pallet 3 based on the detection data of the camera 13, and also determines a center position in a width direction of a back 3b of the net pallet 3 based on the center position in the width direction of the front 3a and the posture of the net pallet 3 relative to the forklift 1; a distance calculation unit 18 that calculates a distance between the pallet center line passing through the center position in the width direction of the front 3a and the back 3b and a center point between the pair of forks 8; and a control unit 19 that controls a side shift cylinder 9 so that a distance between the pallet center line and the center point is equal to or less than a predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
