Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft seal gate valve in which a valve body mass is reduced without damaging its cut-off performance to improve its workability at the time of manufacturing and maintenance work and at the same time an operation torque when the valve is closed is reduced.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a soft seal gate valve in which a valve port 11 of a valve case 2 is opened or closed by a rubber lining applied valve body 1 moving in a vertical direction crossing with a direction of a pipe passage 5 of the cylindrical valve case 2. A valve body core 15 of the valve body 1 has valve seats 21 at flat-plate like both sides of an upper outer periphery and at the same time has a cut-off band part 22 below. A shoulder part 26 positioned at an upper part between the valve seats 21 is provided with a valve body hollow groove 27. Rubber lining material is filled in the valve body hollow groove 27 to constitute the valve body 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
