Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a fuel injection amount by control of a valve closing time of higher reliability and stability in comparison with a conventional one, even under a low temperature environment.SOLUTION: In an electronic control unit 4 constituting a common rail type fuel injection control device, correction of a fuel injection amount is executed by controlling a valve closing time to correct dispersion of fuel injection amounts by adjusting timings of termination of energization of fuel injection valves 2-1 to 2-n according to deviation obtained by measuring valve closing timings of the solenoid valves inside of the fuel injection valves 2-1 to 2-n, and calculating the deviation between the measured values and a standard valve closing time as a valve closing timing of the solenoid valve inside of the fuel injection valve having a standard characteristic. Thus the execution of the correction of fuel injection amount by controlling the valve closing time is inhibited before the lapse of a prescribed time from the start of the engine of the vehicle, and the proper correction of the fuel injection amount can be secured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
