Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve characteristics of a chalcopyrite thin-film polycrystalline solar cell and a dye-sensitized solar cell by inventing a glass substrate for a solar cell high in heat resistance and excellent in productivity.SOLUTION: The glass substrate for a solar cell contains, by mass%, SiO:50 to 70%, AlO:0 to 10%, RO(MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO):10 to 30%, R'O(NaO+KO):5 to 20%, ZrO:0 to 10% as a glass composition, and has a strain point of 560°C or higher and a temperature at a high temperature viscosity of 10dPa s of 1200°C or lower.
