Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectacle lens processing device and processing control data generation program, which allow for forming a hole through a lens at an appropriate angle by reducing effect of angular change in position of the lens held by a lens holding shaft.SOLUTION: A spectacle lens processing device includes a controller for controlling processing. The controller acquires a position of a hole to be formed through a lens. When forming a hole at the acquired hole position, the controller determines a relative angle between a hole making tool and the lens based on an angle of the lens held by a lens holding shaft. Such an arrangement reduces effect of angular change in position of the lens held by the lens holding shaft, allowing a hole to be formed through the lens at an appropriate angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
