Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively hydrochloric acid dissolving gold from a gold-containing article such as a copper electrolytic slime with reducing used amount of hydrogen peroxide or the like.SOLUTION: In a method for hydrochloric acid dissolving gold from a product containing selenium together with gold, hydrochloric acid dissolution of gold is proceeded by maintaining hydrochloric acid concentration of a liquid at 7.5 mol/L to 12 mol/L, preferably oxidation reduction potential of the liquid at 840 mV or less, more preferably at 800 mV to 840 mV together with maintaining the hydrochloric acid concentration of the liquid at 7.5 mol/L to 12 mol/L.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
