Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage device capable of taking out an article moving device from a frame member when the article moving device stops at a middle position in the frame member, and remains unmoved.SOLUTION: An article storage device comprises a frame member, a plurality of article moving devices, and a rescue device. The article moving device comprises a moving device body part, and a projection part projecting from the moving device body part. The article moving device includes a traveling wheel rotated by power, a holding member holding an article, and an elevating mechanism elevating the holding member. The projection part comprises an engaging part on a moving device side. The rescue device 20 comprises a rescue device body part 21, and an engaging member 22 on a rescue side. The rescue device 20 is moved to the neighborhood of the article moving device, and the engaging member 22 on the rescue side is engaged with the engaging part on the moving device side of the article moving device to connect the rescue device 20 to the article moving device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
