Abstract:
To provide a groove grinder capable of inhibiting a grinding burn when a groove is ground in a fixed pulley of a transmission mechanism for a vehicle.SOLUTION: A groove grinder comprises: a supply head moving in an axial X direction following a movement of a support shaft in the axial X direction; and nozzle parts disposed in the supply head and including discharge nozzles N (NL1, NR1) of a coolant OL. The nozzle parts are disposed on both sides of a grinding stone 3 in an axial Y direction. The discharge nozzles N (NL1, NR1) in the nozzle parts are arranged so that discharge ports for the coolant are oriented from moving direction side of the support shaft toward a contact region Rs between a grinding part of the grinding stone 3 and an outer periphery of a shaft part 92.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
