PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical underground heat collection system that has a heat exchange amount more than a conventional closed type horizontal underground heat collection system.SOLUTION: A closed type horizontal underground heat collection system 100 collecting underground heat by circulating heat exchange medium to a heat exchange pipe buried into an underground shallow layer part, includes: a heat exchange layer 110 installed in the underground shallow layer part G1, and having water permeability; a heat exchange pipe 120 buried into the heat exchange layer 110; and an underground water supply device 130 supplying underground water from the upper part of the heat exchange pipe 120 to the heat exchange layer 110.
