Abstract:
To suppress a wrong determination on a misfire during execution of catalyst temperature rising control.SOLUTION: A control device performs, when a request to raise a temperature of a catalyst is made, catalyst temperature raising control to stop fuel injection into some of air cylinders and supply fuel to the remaining air cylinders, and also controls an internal combustion engine and a motor to output, from the motor, torque complementing deficient torque for requested torque due to the stop of fuel injection to the air cylinders. A misfire determination device makes a misfire determination on the air cylinders into which the fuel is injected, and does not make a misfire determination on the air cylinders into which the fuel is not injected during the catalyst temperature raising control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
