Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve some problems that although dam water in a pressure pipe at a hydraulic power plant is at first a laminar flow irrespective of a size of head drop, the laminar flow becomes a turbulent flow and a splash state as water flows down, and the water is injected against a water turbine together with a large amount of gases [air and other gases dissolved in dam water up to now] to generate power, power generating efficiency is quite low, a large amount of injected gases deteriorates a cavitation phenomenon to further reduce power generating efficiency.SOLUTION: Water is supplemented to a pressure pipe by a high pressure water supplementing device to perform a complete dissolution of gas generated in the pressure pipe. Since the pressure pipe is full of water to cause high-pressurized full water to be injected against a water turbine, it is possible to perform a high efficient power generating operation. Since dam water completely dissolved gas is injected against the water turbine, a cavitation at the water turbine is remarkably reduced. Since the power generation efficiency is improved and at the same time the water turbine can be used for a long period of time, it is possible to perform a stable power generation of less-expensive power. Even if this invention is performed at a pressure pipe with a less head drop, this invention is effectively acted on it.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
