Abstract:
The present invention provides an image display device and an image display method, in which a plurality of images are displayed such that a user is able to easily grasp the contents without requiring a large movement in a line of sight, and a plurality of images are displayed such that the user is able to suitably grasp a position and a state of an image of a target object (a display target image) in the entire image. An image display device according to a preferred aspect of the present invention includes a display controller controlling display of an image in a display unit 12. The display controller simultaneously displays a first image 51 and a second image 52 on the display unit 12, allows a position of a display target image 53 of the first image 51 in the display unit 12 to be coincident with a position of a display target image 53 of the second image 52 in the display unit 12, and sets a first image display region 54 in which the first image 51 is displayed is narrower than a second image display region 56 in which the second image 52 is displayed in the display unit 12.
