Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently clean a light irradiation surface by using cleaning means.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus has: a photoreceptor module 100 that has a photoreceptor drum 12 holding images, and is moved in the axial direction to be detachably attached to the apparatus; an LPH 14 that has a rod lens array 43 radiating light, and is arranged opposite to the photoreceptor module 100 while the photoreceptor module 100 is attached to the apparatus to expose the photoreceptor drum 12; and a cleaning pad 720 that is provided on the photoreceptor module 100, and is brought into contact with the top surface 43a of the rod lens array to clean the top surface 43a of the rod lens array. The image forming apparatus further includes a pad-type cleaning member 70 that cleans the top surface 43a of the rod lens array with the change of the contact surface of the cleaning pad 720 in association with the movement in the axial direction of the photoreceptor module 100.
