Abstract:
To detect rigidity regardless of the type of paper with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device 1 comprises: a paper feed cassette 27; an image forming unit 13; a conveyance path for guiding paper P from the paper feed cassette 27 to the image forming unit 13; a paper feed part 14 and a conveyance part 15 for taking out the paper in the paper feed cassette 27 one by one and conveying the paper to the image forming unit 13 through the conveyance path; and a switch unit 51 turned on/off according to the presence/absence of pressing by the end part of the paper conveyed in the conveyance path provided at a position on the upstream side of paper conveyance from the image forming unit 13 in the conveyance path. The switch unit 51 is turned off when pressed by the pressing force of the end part of the sheet in a case where the sheet has highly rigid and remains on when the paper is not pressed by the pressing pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
