PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an image forming system, and a program with which an additional image can be combined with a document image without being chipped even in an area outside the document image.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: receiving means that receives a document image; combining means that combines an additional image to the document image received by the receiving means; output size redefining means that redefines an output size from information including information on the size of the document image, information on the size of the additional image, and the coordinate position of the additional image with respect to the document image; and output means that outputs a combined image in an output size redefined by the output size redefining means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
